Hope Solo's Fiancé Jerramy Stevens Arrested for Domestic Assault

Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his fiancé, U.S. women's soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo, according to police in Seattle.

Stevens, 33, was released by a Kirkland Municipal Court judge on Tuesday after his arrest Monday on charges of fourth degree domestic violence, reports the Associated Press.

The judge said there was not enough evidence to hold the former pro football star, but the case remains under investigation, Kirkland Police Lt. Mike Murray told the news service.

The couple had applied for a marriage license last Thursday, court records showed. They had been involved for two months and had reportedly argued over whether to wed in Florida or Washington State, the AP reported, citing court documents.

The arrest occurred after police responded to a 3:45 a.m. call about a physical altercation at a party in the Seattle suburb of Kirkland. It occurred the night before the couple had reportedly planned to wed.

James Van Der Beek Exposes What It's Like to Ride a Horse Bottomless

The horse didn't seem to mind, but for the actor, climbing aboard and posing naked was a bit awkward.

"I’m not going to lie. I’ve never ridden bareback on a horse, let alone without pants, so that was new," James Van Der Beek – referring to Tuesday's special Sexiest Man Alive episode of his ABC sitcom Don't Trust the B–– in Apt. 23 – told PEOPLE at Tuesday's GQ magazine's 2012 Men of the Year Party, held at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont.

The episode, in which Van Der Beek ends up as PEOPLE's sexy cover guy after a prank is pulled on the magazine staff by the character Chloe (Krysten Ritter), featured a photo layout of the actor wearing only a shirt as he rides a horse.

"One shower later, it all was good," said the real Van Der Beek.

As the camera captured the moment, the actor's wife Kimberly Van Der Beek watched the nearly naked shoot – and described it as "surreal."

As for the photo subject himself, Van Der Beek, 35, said: "It was a lot of fun to do something that is tied to something so culturally relevant. "And just to ... drag PEOPLE into our own demented world on the show, and have you guys be such great sports about it, was a lot of fun."

So did his wife find it at all sexy, a nude ride on horseback? Not exactly, she said. She was more worried about his safety.

"I don't how sexy it is when there's, like, 30 people around," said Kimberly. "You have to be careful about how you're getting on that horse! I was more concerned."

Channing Tatum Is PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive!

He may have bared (almost) all of that incredibly chiseled body in this year's Magic Mike but 2012's Sexiest Man Alive Channing Tatum was still modest when he heard the news.

"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" says Tatum, who married actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum in 2009. "I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked."

Says the actor: "She was like, 'What?'"

"Yeah, she calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now," he adds. And who can blame her?

Her Alabama-bred heartthrob of a husband is also a sculptor who quotes Edgar Allan Poe, loves to give her massages and can't wait to start their family. "I'm ready; I think she's ready," Tatum, 32, says. "The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that."

"It’s really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kids,'" he continues. "Jenna will be like, 'Well you better get another wife!'"

Currently training to play an Olympic athlete in next year's Foxcatcher, Tatum is all heart and muscle at 195 pounds. "I like to be lean. If I get too bulky I can't move well and I like to move," he says. "When I'm not training, I get really round and soft."

Which is just fine by his wife. "People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is," says Dewan-Tatum, 31. "He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."
